True and false are represented by different binary values with 0 volts for true and 5 volts for false. Digital circuits are less vulnerable to noise but consume a lot of energy.

Combinational Logic Circuits (Circuits without a memory): In this type of logic circuits outputs depend only on the current inputs.

In electronics, a multiplexer (or mux) is a device that selects between several analog or digital input signals and forwards it to a single output line.

A demultiplexer essentially transmits data from one line line to 2^n possible output lines.A decoder takes n inputs, and uses those inputs to determine which of the 2^n output lines is high.

A 7-segment display , is a form of electronic display device for displaying decimal numerals that is an alternative to the more complex dot matrix displays. Encoder more commonly called a Binary Encoder takes all its data inputs one at a time and then converts them into a single encoded output.
